Ahh, one of my favorites. This piece was born of a collaborative creative project with a few other JCCC students. While that endeavor fell just before release, I still reminisce on my contributions; Primarily, this piece.

This piece was born while I was fresh off of a visit to the local RenFaire and deep into the throes of reminiscing on the complex minutia of the medieval fantasy world (40 hours deep into Divinity: Original Sin II).
This piece was made as my submission for a creative project with other JCCC students. My inspiration and drive came from a central prompt; “But the river takes her shape from every tempest she abides – And like her, you’ll be made new again”.
I approached this project with a more cinematic storytelling style, adding in some mellow strings to underscore the calmness and amp up the ferventness.
One of my personal favorites, this piece was the final project for my first formal composition course. During that time my main focus was on expressive dynamic strings, and learning how to weave them together. This piece consists of two lead violins that alternate taking the stage as well as a backing viola and cello.
This was a piece born from a deep delve/fixation into the Lovecraft mythos and an old TTRPG called “Call of Cthulhu”. I was tasked by my resident DM Capitan to develop a player character.
This piece was my resurgence back into music composing after a very dark and perilous period of my life. While it’s runtime is lacking, its title represents what I was so desperately craving at the time; Some forward momentum.
